STAGED & SOLD

How far are you as a Realtor willing to go to get your listing SOLD? Adding value to your listing to get the most dollars for your seller AND make it more appealing to potential buyers may mean you have to extend yourself outside the parameters of your regular duties as a Real Estate Agent.

To show you don't have to spend a lot of money to transform a room and make it more appealing to potential buyers, I wanted to share with you before and after pictures of a master bedroom I staged in my own listing and on a very small budget.

The breakdown of the makeover is as follows:

Mattress is a queen size air mattress

Bed base is a portable queen size frame from RONA $249.00

Grey/cream bedding/sheets/blanket is my own

Cream quilt was a VV (Value Village is a thrift store here in Toronto area) for $19

Accent Pillows from Home Sense $24.99 each

James Dean & Audrey Hepburn Pictures from Ikea $39 each

Floor Lamp Ikea $59

Ceiling Light Fixture RONA $79

Round Bedside Table from Clearance at LOWES $39

Grey/Cream Striped Drapes Walmart $50

Black Drape Rod $14 Ikea

Dresser was the client’s original furniture from the 60’s. I put new handles on ($7 each from LOWES, loved how it turned out)

The black wire bowl was a $6 VV find

A few more before and after photos from my staged listing. You decide if this makeover helped to get this property STAGED & SOLD!
